About My Practice

As an individual therapist, I work collaboratively with youth and adults to heal trauma and explore neurodivergence, mental health, identity, relationships and confidence. My approach is grounded in curiosity, respect, and a deep belief in each person’s capacity for self-understanding.

Areas of Focus

I work primarily with Autistic and AuDHD (Autistic and ADHD) youth and adults, as well as neurodivergent parents and parents of high-needs children and teens. My clinical focus centers on the intersection of neurodivergence and trauma, and how these experiences shape emotional regulation, relationships, identity, and self-understanding.

I support clients in strengthening:

  • Self-awareness and self-connection

  • Emotional regulation and navigating “big feelings”

  • Communication skills including self-advocacy and boundary setting

  • Identity, including parts work, neurodivergent identity, and 2SLGBTQIA+ identities (including aromantic and asexual identities)

  • Recovery and healing from trauma and traumatic experiences, including complex post-traumatic stress disorder

  • Compassion satisfaction (to mitigate compassion fatigue and burnout, especially in employment and parenting roles)

With youth clients, I also support communication with caregivers to strengthen family relationships and capacity to support youth that extend beyond the therapy space. For parents experiencing caregiver fatigue and/or burnout, I offer a supportive space to process, feel understood, and reconnect with yourself.

My Approach

In our sessions, you can expect a thoughtfully attuned, gentle, and skillfully guided approach. I will support you with deepening self-understanding and accessing your inner wisdom to enhance clarity, confidence, and choice in how you respond to your experiences and engage with life.

My work is primarily informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, integratively tailored to your align with your unique goals and needs. I will support you in strengthening your relationship with all parts of your self and cultivating a sense of internal safety, compassion, and trust. I also integrate elements of sensorimotor psychotherapy and other trauma-focused approaches, creating a flexible and responsive therapeutic experience.

I have found this method to be particularly aligned with the therapeutic goals and communication needs and preferences of many autistic adults.

Identity & Values

I am a queer, cisgender, neurodivergent white settler woman. I use she/her pronouns. My past experience includes over a decade of work and volunteer roles in feminist and 2SLBTQIA+ communities and organizations.

My practice is grounded in values of inclusivity, anti-oppression, and respect for diverse identities and lived experiences. I prioritize ongoing learning from the voices and experiences of those with lived expertise. I aim to create a space where you feel seen, validated, and supported as your full self.
