About My Practice

As an individual and relationship therapist, I work alongside youth and adults to explore mental health challenges, life transitions, neurodiversity, and couple and family relationships. I also support clients in understanding and alleviating the impacts of oppressive social structures on mental well-being.

My approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in creating a space where you feel safe and supported to explore personal and systemic influences on your well-being and relationships.

Areas of Focus

I work with a diverse range of clients, including racialized adults, neurodivergent women (formally or self-identified), and couples/partners. I also support parents, caregivers, and loved ones of neurodivergent individuals, including those caring for high-needs children and youth presenting with complex and/or demand avoidance behaviours.

Together, we may explore:

  • Neurodivergence and identity

  • Experiences of attachment and emotional connections

  • Couple and family relational dynamics and patterns

  • Parenting and caregiving for neurodivergent children and youth

  • The impact of systemic and socio-political contexts on individual and relational well-being

I will support you in building self-insight, strengthening communication and relationships, and developing meaningful and sustainable ways of caring for yourself and others.

My Approach

In our sessions, we will explore your emotional needs, values, beliefs, relationships, and experiences with curiosity and hope. I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can explore both the challenges you are facing and emphasize your internal strengths. I am naturally curious and engaged, and I value getting to know you as a whole person, including the contexts and experiences that shape your life.

My style is relational, thoughtful, curious, and grounded, allowing space for moments of connection and ease to be yourself and share your thoughts as they are. I strive to create a space that supports deep reflection and collaborative identification of strategies that align with your values and help you to feel more grounded and connected to yourself and others.

My method is integrative, drawing primarily from Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Neurodivergent Attachment Theory, and Socioculturally Attuned Family Therapy. My practice is also deeply grounded in social justice and culturally affirming care, challenging individualistic models of healing and exploring ways to access community, connection, and collective care.

Identity & Values

As a first-generation immigrant settler, I bring a culturally responsive and socially conscious lens to my work. I am deeply committed to creating a space that honours your intersecting identities and lived experiences.

Outside of my role in this practice, I have several years of experience mainly in school social work roles, supporting youth, parents, and families in navigating challenges faced in school-based settings. I have contributed as a researcher and educator examining cross-cultural practices with youth and families.

I am passionate about supporting clients in exploring healing not only as an individual process, but also as something that can be nurtured through relationships, community, and collective care.

Additional Services

I also offer consultation and education for professionals and organizations, with a focus on:

  • Neuro-affirming approaches in cross-cultural practice

  • Collective healing and community-building

  • Strengthening inclusive and culturally responsive care

  • Integrating micro and macro practice in social work and counselling roles
